Favors, Racer Styles & the Gauntlet
The long middle of the platinum: unlock all 20 Favors and 14 Racer Styles, then win the Galactic Gauntlet with every Style, every Favor and all three speeder types.
All 14 Racer Styles and how to unlock them
Styles unlock from lifetime stats that keep counting across every run, so you never lose progress toward them. The Style you pick also shapes which Parts you're offered, and each new Style unlocks a set of Scenarios.
| Racer Style | What it's built for | How to unlock it |
|---|---|---|
| Survivor | Defensive: built to keep you out of trouble and racing clean. | Unlocked from the start. |
| Tenacious | Thrives in risky moments, and gives you an extra crash. Starts with Autopilot. | Take part in 4 tour events. |
| Redliner | High risk: makes Ramjet stronger while it's in the red zone, and the red zone lasts longer. | Use Ramjet for 375 seconds in total. |
| Brawler | Aggressive: rewards battling and takedowns. Starts with Ion Bolt. | Get 20 takedowns. |
| Ramjet Rider | Controlled: stretches each Ramjet burn for as long as possible. A strong all-rounder for Champion. | Use Ramjet for 950 seconds in total. |
| Tech Expert | Ability-focused: built to fire Abilities as often as possible. | Activate 80 Abilities. |
| Afterburner | Leans on the basic Afterburner boost rather than Ramjet, and makes it last longer. | Win 35 tour events. |
| Stunt Runner | Uses jumps to surprise rivals and stretch your Afterburner. | Spend 240 seconds airborne. |
| Engineer | Strategic: benefits from clearing negative status effects. | Activate 110 Abilities. |
| Firebug | Short, very powerful Ramjet bursts for extreme speed. | Get 48 takedowns. |
| Slipstreamer | Rides opponents' slipstreams to overtake them. Starts with Surge. | Win 40 tour events. |
| Ice Cold | Advanced: built around the Frozen status. | Activate 160 Abilities. |
| Clean Racer | Rewards non-contact racing. Starts with Surge. | Win 60 tour events. |
| Weaponised | Offensive: for racers who want to fight their way to the front. | Become Galactic League champion (your first full Campaign clear). |
All 20 Favors and how to unlock them
After meeting a condition, talk to the character at the start of a planet to receive the Favor. Up to three can be equipped per tour.

| Gadgeteer | Complete 6 Time Trial Field Tests. |
| Feet First | Complete Sebulba's first Tale of Podracing. |

| Family Legacy | Beat Ary Quill in a Rivalry Head-to-Head. |
| High Roller | Beat Fola Kanjen in a Rivalry Head-to-Head. |
| Racer Roulette | Mystery Encounters with Biddy Blas: accept his challenges each time (“All right, you're on”, then “Quadruple or Nothing”, then “Let's go, Taxman!”) and beat him in the events between meetings. |
| Underhanded Upperhand | Four Mystery Encounters with Malis Vazosk, paying him each time: pay double so he won't sabotage you (4,000), then hire him to sabotage a racer or your Rival (4,000), then the racers or Kestar (5,000 or 7,000), and finally “You're hired” (7,000). Bring credits. |
| Second Chance | Three meetings with Katja Mox. 1st (a Mystery Encounter): take one handicap — Ramjet heats twice as fast, Afterburner drains three times as fast, or Abilities recharge half as fast — and survive 3 planets with it; she rewards you at the start of the next planet. 2nd (not a Mystery Encounter, she finds you): pick another — 10% lower top speed, no Cornering or Manoeuvring Upgrades, or no Parts at all — for 2 planets. 3rd: answer “Fine, take them. I'll prove myself without them.” |

A Few Good Folks
BronzeFull guideCollapse Equip 3 Favors simultaneously.

A Few Good Folks
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Equip 3 Favors at once at the start of a tour. You can run up to three, so this pops as soon as you've unlocked a third.
Tip
Comes naturally after a few runs.

Inspired by Animals
BronzeFull guideCollapse Gain Hibi's Favor.

Inspired by Animals
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Unlock Hibi's Favor. It's usually your first: talk to Hibi on the third planet of Act 1: The Qualifier.
Tip
Can't be missed.

Maybe We Can All Be Friends Someday!
SilverFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Unlock all 20 Favors. Each has a condition (see the full table above). Once you meet it, talk to that character at the start of a planet to receive it. Most come from progress, Field Tests, Backer ratings and beating specific Rivals; three come from chains of Mystery Encounters (the “?” nodes) with Biddy Blas, Malis Vazosk and Katja Mox, where you need the right dialogue answers and to meet a condition between meetings.
Tip
Restart a tour until the map shows several Mystery Encounters, ideally one on the first planet. Malis's chain is the luck-heavy one: players have reported several meetings without the Favor progressing, so take every Malis encounter you see and keep the credits to pay him.

Getting Started
BronzeFull guideCollapse Select a Racer Style.

Getting Started
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Pick a Racer Style at the start of your second tour. Your first run uses the default Style, so the option opens up once you start a new run.
Tip
Can't be missed.

Raging Rancor
BronzeFull guideCollapse With the Brawler Racer Style, take down 5 racers within a Standard or Eliminator race.

Raging Rancor
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
With the Brawler Style equipped, get 5 takedowns in a single Standard or Eliminator race. Brawler starts with Ion Bolt; add Concussion Mine or Shockwave if you find them.
Tip
Use a Standard race so the full field is around you, and deliberately hang back in the pack: ramming and abilities work best in traffic, not out in front.

Speed and Violence
BronzeFull guideCollapse With the Tech Expert Racer Style, hit 5 racers with Ion Bolt within a Standard or Eliminator race.

Speed and Violence
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
With the Tech Expert Style, hit 5 racers with Ion Bolt in one Standard or Eliminator race. Tech Expert doesn't start with Ion Bolt, so first unlock it from Sebulba's 7th Tale of Podracing, then add it with an Ability Pack.
Tip
Make sure your Battery stat can fire Ion Bolt five-plus times in one race, and stay in the pack where the targets are.

One Hell of a Thrill
BronzeFull guideCollapse With the Redliner Racer Style, stay above 550 km/h for 5 s within a Standard or Eliminator race.

One Hell of a Thrill
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
With the Redliner Style, stay above 550 km/h for 5 seconds in one Standard or Eliminator race. Redliner powers up your Ramjet while it's in the red zone and makes that zone last longer.
Tip
Max out the Ramjet upgrade stat, then fire it on a long straight where you won't need to brake or drift.

Skill, Strategy, and the Will to Rise
SilverFull guideCollapse Unlock all Racer Styles.

Skill, Strategy, and the Will to Rise
SilverFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Unlock all 14 Racer Styles. They unlock from lifetime stats that build up across every run, so most come naturally during the Gauntlet grind. See the full unlock table above.
Tip
The two you'll chase longest are Clean Racer (60 tour-event wins) and Ice Cold (160 Abilities activated). Weaponised unlocks for becoming Galactic League champion, so it comes with your first full clear.

I Can Fly Anything
SilverFull guideCollapse Win the Galactic Gauntlet with each speeder type.

I Can Fly Anything
SilverFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Win the Galactic Gauntlet with each of the 3 speeder types: the Landspeeder (owned from the start), the Speeder Bike (10 Tuning Points) and the Skim Speeder (20 Tuning Points). The Gauntlet is the three-part Eliminator on Derven Acos, the second-to-last event of Acts 2 and 3. Tuning Points come from every race you finish (1) and every top-3 Eliminator finish (4), so you'll have 30 long before you need them. The speeder comparison is on the Campaign & Story page.
Tip
Check progress in the Logbook: a speeder that has won the Gauntlet is marked Mastered. Rotate speeder types across your Style and Favor runs so they finish together.

Racing Master
SilverFull guideCollapse Win the Galactic Gauntlet with each Racer Style.

Racing Master
SilverFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Win the Galactic Gauntlet with all 14 Racer Styles. You can only run one Style per tour, so this is at least 14 Gauntlet wins, the backbone of the grind.
Tip
The fastest loop: restart the Campaign, play Act 2, win its Gauntlet, then lose the final race to Kestar on purpose. You go back to the start of Act 2 instead of moving on to Act 3, which is longer (an extra planet plus story podracing events). Style progress is also tracked as Mastered in the Logbook.

United by a Beautiful Dream
SilverFull guideCollapse Win the Galactic Gauntlet with each Favor.

United by a Beautiful Dream
SilverFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Win the Galactic Gauntlet with all 20 Favors. Three can be equipped per tour, so it's a minimum of 7 winning runs, which you'll naturally fold into your 14 Racer Style runs.
Tip
⚠️ Clandestine Aid can only be used for the Gauntlet in Act 2. Have it equipped when you first play through Act 2, or you'll need to restart the Campaign later and replay Acts 1 and 2 to credit it.
