Games that need a partner
These guides on the site have online co-op trophies — the finder works for any game, but here's what we currently cover:
Which trophies actually need a partner?
Plenty of multiplayer trophies you can grind solo — but these are the ones where a second player is the fastest (or only) way through, and exactly what this board is for:
- Online co-op story & quests — trophies that only unlock while a second player is in your session, like finishing a mission or a whole campaign in co-op.
- Boosted competitive trophies — "win X online matches", "get a ranked win" or PvP objectives that are far quicker to trade with a willing partner than to fight for.
- Dead-lobby games — older titles whose servers are nearly empty, where matchmaking no longer fills and a pre-arranged partner is the only realistic way to still get the online trophies.
- Two-controller / session trophies — anything that needs two accounts in the same lobby, party or guild at once.
Tips for a fast match
- Always include your region and timezone — most sessions fall through over a platform or time-zone mismatch, not willingness.
- List the exact trophies you need so a partner knows the plan before you add each other.
- Be flexible on timing and offer a couple of windows; evenings and weekends fill fastest.
- Add on PSN, send a quick message to confirm you're both ready, then jump straight into a party.
- Do a short test that the trophy is actually popping before committing to a long grind.
- When you're done, come back and mark it sorted so the board stays useful for the next person.
