Rise of the Ronin hides roughly 750 collectible locations across its open world — spread over the three main regions of Yokohama, Edo and Kyoto — and you'll want them all for 100% completion and the Collector trophy. Here's exactly what you're hunting, and what each type is for:
- 113 Veiled Edge Banners — raise each one to reveal the surrounding map and open up fast travel.
- 113 Treasure Boxes — loot caches holding weapons, armour and crafting materials.
- 100 Cats — pet every one; they perch on rooftops, market stalls and shrine grounds.
- 91 Fugitives — wanted enemies to track down and defeat for bounty rewards.
- 70 Landmarks — real historical sites to visit for lore and completion.
- 66 Public Order Events — incidents to resolve that raise a district's public order.
- 49 Shrines — pray at each for a buff and to tick it off the list.
- 44 Photograph Spots — scenic vistas to capture with the in-game camera.
Rounding out full completion are the smaller sets — 5 Firearm, 4 Horseback Archery and 5 Gliding training spots, plus 58 Bond Missions and 32 Allies to meet across the story.
The smart route: raise Veiled Edge Banners first in each area — every banner you raise uncovers a chunk of the map, so nearby cats, boxes and fugitives surface as icons and you can plan a clean sweep instead of wandering. Use the layer toggles above to focus on one collectible type at a time, and hit Mark found as you clear each region so nothing gets counted twice.
