Systems, Blood & Crafting

Requiem's economy revolves around the blood collector: harvest infected blood, refine it into ammo and items, and feed a wider loop of credits, the supply box, analysis-unlocked recipes and weapon upgrades. Most of these trophies are one-off touches of each system and pop in your first hours. Two are cumulative grinds — Bloodlust (5,000 blood collected) and Credit Where Credit Is Due (200,000 credits) — that sort themselves out across the multiple playthroughs the platinum needs.

The Power of Blood

BronzeFull guideCollapse

Craft an item using the blood collector.

TypeBronze
SystemBlood collector

What it asks

Use harvested infected blood to craft a single item via the blood collector — Grace's signature mechanic.

How to earn it

  1. Harvest microsamples with the blood collector from the environment/enemies.
  2. Open crafting and create any blood-based item.

Blood! More Blood!

Use 300 microsamples of infected blood.

TypeBronze
Cumulative300 used

What it asks

Spend 300 microsamples of infected blood total on crafting — an early step toward the bigger Bloodlust grind.

How to earn it

  1. Keep crafting blood-based ammo and items as you play.
  2. 300 used accrues quickly during normal play.
On the way to Bloodlust (5,000 collected) — just keep using the collector.

Bloodlust

SilverFull guideCollapse

Collect 5,000 microsamples of infected blood.

TypeSilver
Cumulative5,000 collected

What it asks

Harvest a cumulative 5,000 microsamples of infected blood with the collector across your playthroughs.

How to earn it

  1. Use the blood collector at every opportunity — drain downed enemies and environmental sources.
  2. The counter carries across runs, so your multiple playthroughs will get you there.
This is the opposite of the Minimalist run — do your blood-harvesting on your non-Minimalist playthroughs (your blind run and Insanity run).

Earn 200,000 Credits.

TypeSilver
Cumulative200,000

What it asks

Earn a cumulative 200,000 credits over your playthroughs — total earned, not held at once.

How to earn it

  1. Credits come from kills, finds and selling — they accrue across runs.
  2. Across 3–4 playthroughs you'll comfortably pass 200,000.

Pro tips

  • Because it's lifetime earned (not current balance), spend freely — spending doesn't reduce the counter.
