The plan. Run 1 (Casual) does almost everything — all collectibles, every combat/system feat, and three stacked challenges: no healing, no blood collector, and under 4 hours. Run 2 (Insanity, with unlocked infinite ammo) mops up the difficulty tiers and the blood-collector trophies. Callouts flag each Trophy and each plan-ahead moment as you reach it. Exact collectible spots live on our collectibles guide.

Part 1

Wrenwood — the Prologue

Run 1 is your Casual “everything” run. You'll stack three challenge trophies on it, so commit from minute one and grab every collectible as you go.

Plan ahead
Lock in the run-1 rules now — all three stack on a single Casual clear: Never Touch the Stuff (no herbs or med injectors all game), Minimalist (Grace never uses the blood collector), and Speed Demon (release Elpis under 4 hours). Play efficiently and don't panic-heal.
Wrenwood — Main Street & the Wrenwood Hotel

Play through the opening as Grace: the hotel, the lounge, Room 204 and back down to the lobby. Sweep each room for files and any safe you pass — collectibles count toward four separate trophies later.

Wrenwood — Main Street (the outbreak)

Back on Main Street the outbreak kicks off in earnest.

Trophy · Bronze
Déjà vu — Encounter the outbreak in Wrenwood.
Part 2

Chronic Care Center — the long night

The game's biggest chapter and where most combat and system trophies fall. Clear it room by room and set the one-off feats up deliberately rather than leaving them to chance.

Rehabilitation Ward

Smash your first Mr. Raccoon memoriam the moment you see one — then keep destroying every one you find for the rest of the game.

Trophy · Bronze
The Hunt Begins — Destroy one Mr. Raccoon memoriam.
Central Hall

Stow anything in the item box while playing as Grace.

Trophy · Bronze
Out of Sight, Out of Mind — Store an item in the item box as Grace.
East & West Wings — systems

At the workbench and analysis desk: analyse an item to learn a recipe, pick a locked drawer with a lockpick, and put one weapon upgrade on.

Trophy · Bronze
Science! — Unlock a crafting recipe using analysis.
Trophy · Bronze
Like Mother, Like Daughter — Unlock a drawer with a lockpick.
Trophy · Bronze
Tailor Made — Upgrade a weapon.
East Wing — the combat cluster

The wards are packed with zombies — the perfect place to knock out the combat one-offs in one sweep:

Trophy · Bronze
Untouchable — Parry an enemy attack.
Trophy · Bronze
Bang For Your Buck — Defeat three or more enemies with a single Requiem shot.
Trophy · Bronze
Internal Dispute — Make a zombie attack another zombie in the hospital wards.
Trophy · Bronze
Grace and Goliath — Defeat a Chunk as Grace.
Trophy · Bronze
Fatal Dose — Defeat a zombie using the hemolytic injector.
Trophy · Bronze
Can I Borrow This? — Throw a weapon dropped by an enemy.
Trophy · Bronze
Chop Chop — Defeat three zombies with a hatchet finishing attack.
Setting these up
Bunch enemies in a doorway for Bang For Your Buck (3+ in one shot) and Internal Dispute (let a zombie's swing clip another). Save a hemolytic injector for Fatal Dose, and keep a hatchet for the three finisher kills. None are missable within the run, but doing them here saves backtracking.
Story bosses — the singers & the chef

Two set-piece fights in the care center hand you their own trophies.

Trophy · Bronze
Deadly Duet — Defeat the two singers.
Trophy · Bronze
Order Up! — Defeat the chef in the care center.
Basement → Courtyard

Push down into the basement, then fight your way up to the courtyard.

Trophy · Bronze
Descent Into Darkness — Reach the basement of the care center.
Trophy · Bronze
It's Been a Long Night — Reach the courtyard of the care center.
Part 3

Research Facility → Escaping the Center

A tense stretch through the facility and water-treatment plant as you fight clear of the care center.

Water Treatment — Storage Bay

Line up a Requiem shot to stun the pursuing Girl, then make your exit.

Trophy · Bronze
Bring Out the Big Guns — Stun the Girl with a Requiem shot.
Trophy · Bronze
A Harsh Reality — Escape the care center.
Part 4

Raccoon City — the open hunt (Leon)

The mid-game opens up as Leon. This is your big collectibles sweep — BSAA containers, safes and files — plus a run of combat and system trophies.

Central Camp & the streets

Buy anything from the supply box, and keep opening every BSAA container and safe you find across the whole city.

Trophy · Bronze
Retail Therapy — Purchase an item from the supply box.
Trophy · Bronze
Crate Expectations — Open all BSAA containers.
Sewage & side areas

Watch for a Licker β2 and the Plant 43 growth:

Trophy · Bronze
Cat Got Your Tongue? — Cut the tongue off a Licker β2 with the hatchet.
Trophy · Bronze
Not Today, Buds! — Destroy all the Plant 43 seedlings.
Grimstone Building rooftop

Ride the suspended platform down to ground level.

Trophy · Bronze
Going Down? — Reach the ground using the suspended platform.
Master Craftsman & Credits
Keep analysing new recipes and crafting as Leon — Master Craftsman wants every item crafted at least once, which you'll finish as recipes and materials pile up. Credit Where Credit Is Due (200,000 credits) is cumulative across both runs, so don't stress it here.
Part 5

Highway → R.P.D.

The drive out and the return to a very familiar police station.

Highway

Counter one of Victor's attacks during the chase.

Trophy · Bronze
Road Rage — Stop one of Victor's attacks on the highway.
Raccoon City Center → R.P.D.

Arrive at the R.P.D., then settle an old score.

Trophy · Bronze
The Hero Returns — Arrive at the R.P.D.
Trophy · Bronze
I Remember That, Too — Defeat the Super Tyrant.
Part 6

The Ark — finishing Run 1

The endgame. Reaching and descending the Ark closes the story, and the finish line pops your stacked challenge trophies.

Finding & descending the Ark

Track down the Ark and begin working through its lower levels.

Trophy · Bronze
Umbrella's Legacy — Find ARK.
Trophy · Bronze
The Final Mission — Begin exploring ARK's lower levels.
The final decision

At the ending, choose to release Elpis.

Trophy · Bronze
Hope and Requiem — Choose to release Elpis at the final decision.
Trophy · Silver
Speed Demon — Release Elpis within four hours.

Completing this run the way you planned pops the two big challenge trophies and the base difficulty tier:

Trophy · Gold
Never Touch the Stuff — Finish the story without using herbs or med injectors.
Trophy · Gold
Minimalist — Finish the story without Grace using the blood collector.
Trophy · Bronze
Rookie Agent — Finish the story on Casual difficulty or higher.
Collectible completion & the library

If you swept thoroughly, the 100% collectible trophies unlock — and viewing the unlocked library rounds out two silvers.

Trophy · Bronze
You Little Rascal! — Destroy every Mr. Raccoon memoriam.
Trophy · Bronze
No Safe is Safe — Open every safe in the main story.
Trophy · Bronze
Case Closed — Read all the files in the main story.
Trophy · Silver
Model Mania — View all models in the library.
Trophy · Silver
Curator — View all concept art in the library.
Trophy · Bronze
Master Craftsman — Craft every possible item with Leon.
Missed a collectible?
You Little Rascal!, No Safe is Safe, Case Closed and Crate Expectations all need 100% of their category in a single completed story. If one didn't pop, use our collectibles guide to find what you missed on the next run.
Playthrough 2

Insanity — the final run

Buy the unlocked infinite-ammo weapon with your credits and run the exact same route on Insanity. You know the path now, so this run is fast — and it’s where you finally use the blood collector freely (Minimalist no longer applies).

Saving on Insanity

Insanity limits saves, so you'll save at typewriters with ink ribbons.

Trophy · Bronze
The Ol' Fashioned Way — Save at a typewriter using an ink ribbon.
The blood trophies (finally)

With no Minimalist restriction, use the blood collector often — craft with it and farm microsamples across the run.

Trophy · Bronze
The Power of Blood — Craft an item using the blood collector.
Trophy · Bronze
Blood! More Blood! — Use 300 microsamples of infected blood.
Trophy · Silver
Bloodlust — Collect 5,000 microsamples of infected blood.
Cumulative cleanup

Kills and credits from both runs tick over here.

Trophy · Bronze
Seasoned Pro — Defeat 300 enemies.
Trophy · Silver
Credit Where Credit Is Due — Earn 200,000 Credits.
Clear the game on Insanity

Finish the story on Insanity. The clear also credits every lower difficulty tier at once — so this single run hands you all four difficulty trophies.

Trophy · Gold
Remarkable Agent — Beat the game on Insanity difficulty.
Trophy · Silver
Resolute Agent — Finish the story on Standard (Classic) or higher.
Trophy · Bronze
Rising Agent — Finish the story on Standard (Modern) or higher.
Why only two runs
An Insanity completion grants Resolute (Standard Classic), Rising (Standard Modern) and Rookie (Casual) as well — so a Casual 100% run plus one Insanity run covers all four difficulty trophies. Infinite ammo makes Insanity far more forgiving; play the route you already know.
When the last trophy ticks over, Requiem is yours.
