Reach the Deep Desert (the Sea of Sand). You first have to complete the Shield Wall questline in Hagga Basin, which unlocks the Overland Map; from there you pick one of the three Deep Desert gates and travel through. The Deep Desert is the shared endgame zone — but it is now fully playable in PvE, so you don't need to fight other players.
Tip
Go with a vehicle (Sandbike or Ornithopter) and full water, and consider a first trip with friends. Nothing here forces PvP for the platinum.
