First-person zombie slaying across a blood-soaked Los Angeles, from Bel-Air to the Venice boardwalk. Huge weapon crafting, gloriously gory limb physics, and one of the most fun co-op romps of the generation.

Trophies: the easy one. Roughly 3/10 and about 25 hours, nothing missable (you can mop everything up after the story), and no DLC needed for the platinum. The only catch is a couple of co-op trophies, so grab a friend or matchmake.

Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered

The 'Darkness trilogy' remastered: The Last Revelation, Chronicles and The Angel of Darkness, with a button to swap between the original polygons and the new graphics, plus modern controls.

Trophies: a big list (169 trophies across the three games), but the PS5 platinum only needs The Last Revelation's trophies. Expect classic tank-control puzzle-platforming and secrets hunting; keep a walkthrough handy for the hidden pickups.

The sequel to the cult deckbuilding roguelite: lead angels and demons up a train to take Heaven back from the Titans, defending floor by floor with cards, champions and upgrades.

Trophies: the hard one. It's a brilliant game but a long grind: several trophies need wins on the highest difficulty settings (all the Covenant modifiers), so treat it as a slow-burn platinum alongside other games.
