Story & Side Quests

Every main-mission pop plus the all-side-quests silver. The one to watch — some side quests expire as the story advances.

Missable: some side quests become unavailable as the story progresses, so clear them as you reach them for The Whole Story.

We’ll talk about it next time I see you

Get all game trophies

TypePlatinum
LocationAll trophies
MissableNo
Difficulty

How to earn it

Unlocks automatically once every other base-game trophy is earned. The only genuine gates are four online co-op trophies and a few nights spent surviving Volatiles — everything else comes from normal play and light cleanup.

Tip

Sort the co-op trophies (Lucky 7, Harran Athletics, I've Got Your Back, Polyamory) with a partner mid-playthrough rather than at the very end. They're the one thing that can leave your platinum stranded if you save them for last.

Flight of the Crane

Jump from the Crane

TypeBronze
LocationPrologue
MissableNo — story
DifficultyEasy

How to earn it

Jump from the crane during the opening sequence in the Slums. It's a scripted tutorial moment — when the game hands you control on the crane, make the leap and the trophy pops.

Tip

This doubles as your first parkour lesson. Get used to the climb-and-leap controls now; fluid movement is what keeps you alive during the night pursuits later.

Meet with Rais

TypeBronze
LocationStory
MissableNo — story
DifficultyEasy

How to earn it

Meet with Rais during the main story. Unmissable — it lands during a story cutscene.

Tip

As you push the early story, start answering the random survivor and airdrop events you pass. They feed several silver/bronze trophies and cost you nothing while you're travelling anyway.

Escape the arena

TypeBronze
LocationStory
MissableNo — story
DifficultyEasy

How to earn it

Escape the arena during a main mission. Story-automatic; just clear the objective.

Tip

Combat encounters like this are free XP — swap to a weapon type you're levelling, since Power and Agility proficiency both climb through normal fighting and parkour.

Reach the Old Town

TypeBronze
LocationStory
MissableNo — story
DifficultyEasy

How to earn it

Reach the Old Town — the second, larger map — as the story dictates. Progressing the campaign takes you there automatically.

Tip

Once the Old Town opens, don't ignore the first map. Some Slums side quests become unavailable as the story advances, so tidy them up before you leave for The Whole Story.

Show the outside world that you're still alive

TypeBronze
LocationStory
MissableNo — story
DifficultyEasy

How to earn it

Broadcast to the outside world that you're still alive during a main mission. Unmissable story beat.

Tip

By now you should be levelling Survivor rank — head out at night occasionally, since night activity grants double Survivor XP and speeds up the rank trophies enormously.

DifficultyEasy

How to earn it

Deal with Tahir in the main story. Story-automatic.

Tip

Human enemies like Rais's men drop ammo and count toward Homo Homini Lupus Est when they're threatening survivors — clear their camps as you pass for easy progress.

Find Camden

TypeBronze
LocationStory
MissableNo — story
DifficultyEasy

How to earn it

Find Camden during the campaign. Unmissable.

Tip

You'll have solid gear by this point — a good time to start the firearm kill trophy (Harran Shooting Club), since ammo becomes more plentiful as the story goes on.

MissableNo — story
DifficultyEasy

How to earn it

Activate the Amplifier in a late-game main mission. Story-automatic.

Tip

You're near the end of the campaign here. Make sure any missable Slums and Old Town side quests are done before you trigger the finale, or The Whole Story will be lost on this save.

Complete the game

TypeGold
LocationEnd of campaign
MissableNo — story
DifficultyEasy

How to earn it

Complete the main story. Pops at the credits — unmissable.

Tip

Finish the story only after you've mopped up every side quest, since a few become permanently unavailable post-credits. Confirm your side-quest log is empty before the last mission.

The Whole Story

GoldFull guideCollapse

Finish all side quests

TypeGold
LocationBoth maps
MissableYes
DifficultyMedium

How to earn it

Finish every side quest across the Slums and Old Town. The catch: some side quests become permanently unavailable as the main story advances past certain points, so you can lock yourself out if you rush the campaign.

Tip

Check the map for side-quest markers before every main-story mission and clear anything in the area first. A handful are tied to NPCs who leave or die as the plot moves on, so treat side quests as the priority whenever the two conflict.
