Combat & Kills
Weapon, trap and elemental kill milestones, Volatile hunts and the night-pursuit trophies — plus the fun ones like BBQ and Italian Plumber.
Bolter Hunting
SilverFull guideCollapseCatch 5 Bolters
Bolter Hunting
SilverFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Catch 5 Bolters — the fast, glowing infected that only appear at night and flee the instant they see you. Chase each down before it burrows away.
Tip
Bolters spawn in specific zones at night; use Survivor Sense to spot their glow and plan a route to cut off their escape. Grabbing them during a night run pairs perfectly with the other nocturnal trophies.
Is It Really Necessary?
BronzeFull guideCollapseKill your first Infected
Is It Really Necessary?
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Kill your first Infected. It happens within minutes of gaining control — completely unmissable.
Tip
Early on, save your best weapons and use melee on lone Biters to level Power proficiency. Durability is precious before you unlock repairs, so don't waste a good pipe on a single zombie.
Everybody Dance Now
BronzeFull guideCollapseSimultaneously shock 5 monsters with electricity
Everybody Dance Now
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Shock five monsters at once with electricity. The easiest method is to herd a tight pack of zombies into an electric-fence trap and trigger it, or hit a grouped cluster with an electric-modded weapon.
Tip
Safe-zone fence traps make this trivial: lure a horde into the fence line, flip the switch, and five-plus get zapped together. Do it during a 'clear the safe zone' objective when zombies are already swarming.
Can't Touch This
BronzeFull guideCollapseKill 20 enemies in a row without taking damage.
Can't Touch This
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Kill 20 enemies in a row without taking any damage. Falling damage and zombie hits both reset the streak, so control the fight.
Tip
Do it from a rooftop or ledge: pick off lone Biters below with throwing stars or drop-attacks where they can never reach you. Avoid Virals and human gunmen while the streak is running — they're the usual streak-breakers.
This is Harraaaaan!
BronzeFull guideCollapseKill 100 enemies by kicking them off the rooftops/cliffs.
This is Harraaaaan!
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Kick 100 enemies off rooftops or cliffs to their death — a nod to '300'. Fight near any high edge and use the drop-kick to send zombies over the side.
Tip
Farm it at a raised safe zone or on the Old Town rooftops where crowds gather below. Combine with Judo Master by grappling-throwing some off the edge too, so both grind together.
Mouths Wide Open
SilverFull guideCollapseKill a Volatile
Mouths Wide Open
SilverFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Kill a Volatile — the powerful nocturnal hunters. They're brutal at full night, so the safe play is to catch one at dawn when they weaken and flee toward their nests.
Tip
Around sunrise Volatiles lose their aggression and run. Track a fleeing one and finish it then, rather than picking a straight fight in the dark. Bring UV/flares as a panic button if it turns on you.
Hush, Hush Now
BronzeFull guideCollapseQuiet a Screamer
Hush, Hush Now
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Quiet (kill) a Screamer — the child-like infected that emit a disorienting scream. They spawn in specific dark, infested buildings; just take one down.
Tip
You'll find Screamers inside GRE Quarantine Zones. Since you're clearing all of those for Trespassing anyway, this pops naturally on your first Screamer encounter there.
BBQ
BronzeFull guideCollapseStick a burning zombie on spikes
BBQ
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Stick a burning zombie onto spikes. Set a zombie alight with a fire weapon or a Molotov, then shove or lure the burning body onto any spike trap.
Tip
Do this at one of the many roadside spike traps in the Slums. Ignite the zombie first, then push it in — the trophy needs the victim to be both on fire and impaled.
A Game of Catch
BronzeFull guideCollapseKill 50 enemies with throwing weapons
A Game of Catch
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Kill 50 enemies with throwing weapons. Craft throwing stars or knives, hurl them at zombies, then pick them back up off the ground to conserve parts.
Tip
Throwing stars are cheap and reusable — pick each one back up after the kill. Farming these from a rooftop also helps Can't Touch This, since the enemies never touch you.
Harran Shooting Club
BronzeFull guideCollapseKill 50 enemies with shooting weapons
Harran Shooting Club
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Kill 50 enemies with firearms. Guns are loud (they attract Virals) and ammo is scarce early, so this is best left for the Old Town where bullets are more plentiful.
Tip
Farm it on Rais's human gunmen, who drop ammo when killed — so you roughly break even on bullets. Doing it during human-enemy missions keeps you supplied while you rack up the count.
Electrified!
BronzeFull guideCollapseCatch 25 enemies in the Electric Fence trap
Electrified!
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Catch 25 enemies in an Electric Fence trap. Trigger the built-in fence traps at safe zones, or place your own, and lure zombies in.
Tip
Every safe zone you activate for Now It's Safe usually has a fence trap — herd the defending horde into it. This and Everybody Dance Now can be farmed at the same fence.
Blinded by the Lights
BronzeFull guideCollapseBlind 25 Volatiles with flares or a flashlight
Blinded by the Lights
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Blind 25 Volatiles with flares or a flashlight. At night, shine your flashlight/UV directly at a chasing Volatile, or drop a flare, to stun it.
Tip
Every night pursuit is a farming opportunity — carry a stack of flares and light up Volatiles as they close in. It stacks with Prom Night and Bolter Hunting, so one big night run covers all the nocturnal trophies.
High Flyer
BronzeFull guideCollapseKill 25 enemies using Ground Pound or Drop Attack
High Flyer
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Kill 25 enemies with a Ground Pound or Drop Attack. Unlock the skills in the Agility tree first, then leap from a ledge onto zombies below.
Tip
Ground Pound (once unlocked) is the fastest method — climb any low structure, jump onto a cluster, repeat. It levels Agility proficiency at the same time, so it's never wasted effort.
Judo Master
BronzeFull guideCollapseThrow 50 enemies with Grapple
Judo Master
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Throw 50 enemies with the Grapple takedown. Unlock the Grapple skill, then grab zombies and toss them — ideally off ledges to double up with This is Harraaaaan!
Tip
Grapple has a short cooldown, so space your throws. Doing it beside a rooftop edge means most throws also count as kicks-off-the-roof, grinding two trophies from one move.
Prom Night
SilverFull guideCollapseSurvive night pursuit of level two or higher
Prom Night
SilverFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Survive a night pursuit at chase level two or higher. Go out at night, let Volatiles escalate the chase to level 2 (shown by the on-screen meter), then break line of sight and reach a safe zone.
Tip
Chase level rises the longer Volatiles track you, so deliberately let them chase a while before you run for safety. Use flares and UV safe zones to break the chase — sprinting blindly usually gets you cornered.
Enlightened!
BronzeFull guideCollapseBlind 25 enemies in the Light Trap
Enlightened!
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Blind 25 enemies in a Light Trap — the UV lamps found at safe zones. Lure infected into the beams to stun them.
Tip
Trigger this at any powered safe zone: stand in the UV field and let zombies wander in. It's a passive farm you can knock out while defending a zone you're capturing anyway.
Italian Plumber
BronzeFull guideCollapseKill an enemy with a wrench, using Vault followed by Drop Attack
Italian Plumber
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Kill an enemy with a wrench using Vault then Drop Attack — a Mario reference. Equip a wrench, vault over a zombie, and immediately drop-attack it on the way down.
Tip
Find any wrench, then practise on a lone, slow Biter: run at it, press vault to leap over, and hit drop-attack mid-air. A couple of tries and the timing clicks.
Gabriel's Sword
BronzeFull guideCollapseAdd a fire elemental effect to a sword or a khopesh
Gabriel's Sword
BronzeFull guideCollapseHow to earn it
Add a fire elemental effect to a sword or khopesh. Find the fire weapon-upgrade blueprint, gather the required parts, then apply it to a bladed weapon at the crafting menu.
Tip
You need the specific fire-upgrade blueprint (from loot or a shop) plus the components. Apply it to any sword/khopesh you own — a burning blade is also great for setting up the BBQ trophy.
