A beautiful world, and a stress-free platinum
Frontiers of Pandora is the studio behind The Division let loose in James Cameron's jungle — a first-person open world that's more about wandering, scanning and soaking up the scenery than about hard combat. It's one of the best-looking games on the system.
For trophy hunters it's a relaxing one. The 32 base-game trophies are almost all exploration and collection: touch glowing plants, tune wind flutes, follow moths, collect kites and dolls, and slowly bring Pandora's air quality back to 100% by dismantling the RDA. Nothing here is a real skill check.
The catches
There's basically nothing missable — everything can be mopped up after the credits in free roam. The only trophies that need effort are the two golds tied to the campaign and Apex skills, defeating a thanator, and the long Reclaim Pandora (100% air quality) cleanup. A collectibles guide will save you hours on the kites, dolls and comics.
The Verdict — Pros
- Stunning, best-in-class open world
- Relaxed, no-fail platinum (offline, no missables)
- Satisfying "reclaim the world" cleanup loop
The Verdict — Cons
- Heavy on collectibles — bring a locations guide
- Combat is thin and repetitive
- The 100% air-quality trophy is a long grind
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora — Platinum Roadmap
Step-by-Step Roadmap
Play the campaign
Complete the main story (Becoming → Pushing Back → Combined Forces → Revelations → Rising Pressure → the finale) and unlock your Ancestor Skills along the way.
Clans, skills & wildlife
Finish the three clan community questlines, the Steady Wings side quest, fill your Hunter's Guide (plants & animals), and unlock an Apex Skill.
Collectible sweep
With a locations guide, gather all kites, dolls, comics, wind flutes, totems, moths and mycelium activities, plus 30 each of Audio Logs and Notes. Time-saver: you do not need Memory Paintings or Ikran Gear Baskets at all, and only 30 of each Audio Log/Note are required — there are more than enough, so nothing is truly missable.
Reclaim Pandora → platinum
Destroy every RDA installation and outpost until air quality hits 100%, defeat a thanator, and the last trophy flips the Platinum.
