Combat & Levels

The home stretch: companion bonds, kill counters and the long climb to level 100 that gates the platinum. The level trophies come from XP, and New Game Plus is the fastest engine for the big ones. Everything here is cumulative and low-stress.

Reach level 100 — the platinum's biggest grind.

TypeGold
MissableNo
Difficulty3/10
EffortThe grind

What it asks

Hit character level 100 — the single largest time investment in the platinum.

How to earn it

  1. Level comes from XP: quests, kills, crafting, selling research projects and exploration.
  2. Complete the main story to unlock New Game Plus, then run NG+ loops — your level carries over and the main quest gets shorter each time while still paying big XP.
  3. Stack XP boosts: Well-Rested (sleep in an owned bed/ship) and the “Emotional Security” bonus from sleeping beside a romanced companion.
  4. Grind activities, faction work and selling crafted goods between loops.

Pro tips

  • This is the last trophy almost everyone earns — everything else will be long done before level 100.
  • Selling completed Research projects and crafting in bulk is steady, AFK-friendly XP.
