Sonic Generations

The Sonic half — 21 trophies. Nine of them simply pop as you restore each Stage Gate, six for beating the bosses, and the rest cover collectibles and 100% completion. Everything here comes just from playing and cleaning up; the skill trophies (S-Ranks, Challenge Acts, no-damage boss) live on the S-Ranks & Challenges page.

🔵 Nothing is missable. Every Act can be replayed from the White Space hub or the stage-select menu, so you can mop up Red Star Rings, Chao and Emeralds at any time.

How Sonic Generations is structured

Stage Gates: the hub is split into three eras (Classic, Dreamcast, Modern). Clearing an Act restores that Stage Gate — nine gates, nine bronzes.
Boss & Rival Gates: between eras you fight bosses (Death Egg Robot, Perfect Chaos, Egg Dragoon) and rivals (Metal Sonic, Shadow, Silver). Beating them progresses the story and hands you Chaos Emeralds.
Red Star Rings: five hidden in every Act — collecting them unlocks Skills and content, and they're the bulk of "(Hedge)Hogging It All Up!".

What they ask

Each of the nine main stages has a Stage Gate in White Space. Clearing the stage's Act (as Classic or Modern Sonic) restores its gate and pops the matching bronze — GREEN HILL Restored! through PLANET WISP Restored!.

How to earn them

Play through the three eras, clearing each stage's Act 1/Act 2 to open its gate.
All nine pop naturally on the way to finishing the game — no extra work.

Clearing every Act in the game also earns the silver Sonic Generations: All Stages Cleared!.

The Modern-era boss — a fast aerial chase. Dodge the drill and ice cannons, close in during the boost sections and hit its core. Beating it opens the finale.

What it asks

You earn a Chaos Emerald each time you clear a boss or rival gate. Beating all six bosses/rivals plus the story progression nets all seven.

How to earn it

Clear every Boss Gate and Rival Gate — they're required to finish the game anyway.
Collecting the seventh Emerald pops the trophy and unlocks the true finale.

Red Ring Collector

Get all Red Star Rings.

What it asks

Every Act hides five Red Star Rings in tucked-away corners, alternate routes and hidden alcoves. Collect them all across all Acts.

How to earn it

Replay each Act from stage-select and sweep for its five red rings — Modern Acts often hide them on high or off-path routes, Classic Acts in secret passages.
They're tracked per Act in the menu, so you can see exactly which stages still owe you rings.

Red Star Rings unlock Skills, so grabbing them also feeds Mad Skillz and the collectibles trophy — do a dedicated red-ring lap once you've finished the story.

Explore each Act for a caged/hidden Chao and touch it to rescue it.

How to earn it

Grab all Red Star Rings (see Red Ring Collector) and clear Challenge Acts — most Skills unlock from these.
Check the Skill Shop; once the last one unlocks, the trophy pops.
