S-Ranks & Challenges
The platinum's skill layer — all four golds plus the two no-damage boss silvers. This is the only part of the list that asks for actual play, but the rank thresholds are generous and every Act can be retried instantly, so it's persistence more than reflexes. Do this last, after you've unlocked all the Skills and Doom Powers.
How Rank & Challenge Acts work
- Rank is score-based (a blend of time, rings and tricks). Rank S is the top tier, but the requirement is forgiving — a clean, boost-heavy run that doesn't die will usually clear it.
- Retries are instant — restart any Act from the pause menu, so you lose nothing by going for a fast clean lap.
- Challenge Acts are the alternate missions attached to each stage (beat a rival's time, finish with a ring count, reach the goal under a limit, etc.). Clearing every one earns the "Mission Accomplished!" gold for that game.

Big Bang
GoldFull guideCollapseWhat it asks
Earn Rank S on every Act in Sonic Generations — both Classic and Modern versions of all nine stages.
How to S-Rank
- Keep your boost gauge full (Modern) or your speed up (Classic) — score comes mostly from finishing fast without dying.
- Learn each Act's fastest route and shortcuts; a death or big slowdown is what usually costs the S.
- Equip speed/boost Skills before your runs, and don't stop for collectibles on a rank attempt.
- Retry instantly from pause until each Act shows S. The menu marks your best rank per Act so you can see what's left.

Ultimate Life Form
GoldFull guideCollapseWhat it asks
Rank S on every Act in Shadow Generations, including the bonus Radical Highway Acts.
How to S-Rank
- Use Shadow's Doom Powers and Chaos Control to skip hazards and keep momentum — they're big time-savers on rank runs.
- As with Sonic, speed + no deaths is the formula. Take the fast lines and don't stop.
- Unlock Shadow's upgrades first; a fully-kitted Shadow clears the S threshold comfortably.

Sonic Generations: Mission Accomplished!
GoldFull guideCollapseWhat it asks
Each Sonic Generations stage has a set of Challenge Acts — alternate missions with their own goal (a time limit, a ring target, a doppelgänger race, and so on). Clear every one.
How to earn it
- Challenge Acts unlock as you collect Red Star Rings and progress — so finish the collectibles first (see the Sonic Generations page).
- Work through each stage's Challenge Acts from stage-select. They only require a clear, not a high rank, so they're quicker than the S-Rank runs.

Shadow Generations: Mission Accomplished!
GoldFull guideCollapseWhat it asks
The same, for Shadow — clear every Challenge Act attached to the Shadow Generations stages.
How to earn it
- Unlock the Challenge Acts through progression and White Space, then clear each one from stage-select.
- They need only a clear; use Doom Powers to make the trickier objectives simple.
Can't Touch This

Can't Touch This
SilverFull guideCollapseWhat it asks
Beat the Sonic Generations final boss (Time Eater) and clear the stage without taking a single hit.
How to earn it
- Run the finale a few times first just to learn the attack patterns — the fight is largely scripted, so the hits are predictable.
- On your real attempt, play safe: dodge early, don't grab risky rings, and prioritise survival over speed.
- If you take a hit, restart the boss immediately — damage can't be undone for this trophy.
Untouchable

Untouchable
SilverFull guideCollapseWhat it asks
Beat the Shadow Generations final boss (Mephiles) and clear the stage without taking damage.
How to earn it
- Learn the multi-phase fight first — note when Mephiles summons clones and telegraphs his big attacks.
- Lean on Chaos Control to slow dangerous moments and create safe dodge windows.
- Play defensively and restart on any hit. Once you know the phases, a clean run is very achievable.
