Untouchable

SilverHardest Combat Trophy

Complete a full biome from start to finish without taking any direct damage and without losing any Adrenaline. This is the most demanding skill-based trophy in Saros. Every room must be cleared without a single hit landing — not from projectiles, not from melee, not from environmental hazards.

Difficulty:

Choose the Right Biome

You can attempt Untouchable on any biome — shorter biomes with fewer rooms and simpler enemy patterns are strongly recommended. The Ancient Depths (Biome 2) is the consensus best choice because it has the fewest rooms, the most predictable enemy patterns, and Bastion is the easiest Overlord in the game.

🟢 Ancient Depths

Best Choice

Fewest rooms, easiest Overlord (Bastion), no environmental hazards. Strongly recommended for first Untouchable attempt.

🟡 Shattered Rise

Viable

Second easiest. Prophet is predictable once learned. Environmental plants can be cleared before focusing enemies.

🟡 Shattered Descent

Viable

Rhabdom is very predictable. Slightly more room variety than Ancient Depths. Fine secondary option.

🔴 Blighted Marsh+

Avoid

Legion's horde makes Untouchable extremely difficult. Act 2 and 3 biomes not recommended at all.

Setup — Before the Run
  • Use Protection Modifiers — stack as many as allowed. They don't block trophies
  • Fully upgrade the Shield capacity in the Armor Matrix before attempting
  • Enable Second Chance — it won't save Untouchable if you get hit, but it gives peace of mind in other rooms
  • Choose a weapon with a wide spread for clearing rooms at distance
  • Aim for this attempt after completing all three Acts — you'll be at your strongest
In-Run Strategy
  • Never rush a room. Enter slowly, identify all enemy positions, plan a clearing route before firing
  • Shield-absorb everything possible — constant Shield use means you're always charging Power Weapon and never taking chip damage
  • Use the doorway as cover when a room has too many simultaneous projectiles — enemies don't follow you out
  • Active reload every magazine — a reload failure at the wrong moment is how most attempts end
  • Do not fight the Overlord until every preceding room is cleared at full Adrenaline
  • If you take a single hit — restart the run. Don't continue hoping it will still count; it won't
💡
Doorway trick: Stand at a doorway threshold and let enemy projectiles come to you rather than entering the room. Almost every enemy AI in Saros will not cross a doorway in the first 3 seconds — use this to draw them into single-file before engaging. It's legitimate, it works on the Overlord room entrance, and it cuts your exposure by about 60% in difficult rooms.

Vincible

Silver

Complete a full biome without activating the Shield at any point — not even once. You cannot absorb projectiles, cannot charge the Power Weapon via Shield, and cannot use the Parry. Every fight must be won through pure positioning, active reloads, and OverDrive.

What Changes Without the Shield
  • Power Weapon charges only through kills and OverDrive — not Shield absorption
  • You take full damage from every hit — no chip reduction
  • Yellow eclipse projectiles deal full max armor reduction
  • Parry (which uses Shield input) is unavailable
  • Active reload becomes even more critical — your only defensive rhythm tool
Strategy
  • Attempt on Ancient Depths again — Bastion has the most telegraphed attacks in the game and no horde
  • Keep moving laterally at all times — Saros enemies target your last position, so static play is lethal without Shield
  • Use Protection Modifiers to increase your armor threshold
  • OverDrive is your primary damage multiplier — save it for elite enemies and the Overlord
  • Aim for maximum Armor Matrix upgrades before attempting
💡
Vincible + Untouchable order: Do Vincible before Untouchable. Completing a biome without the Shield forces you to master pure movement and positioning — skills that directly transfer into making the Untouchable run much more achievable.

War Within

Silver

Reach maximum Corruption and survive. Corruption is the yellow damage mechanic introduced by the Eclipse — every yellow projectile that hits you reduces your maximum armor by a small amount. The Corruption meter tracks how much maximum armor you've lost. Reaching the maximum level means your armor pool is at its most reduced state possible.

How to Reach Maximum Corruption
  • Play during the Eclipse phase — only yellow projectiles cause Corruption
  • Stop using your Power Weapon's cleanse effect — normally firing the Power Weapon at full charge cleanses some Corruption; hold off on using it
  • Let yellow shots land deliberately — don't panic dodge them for this trophy attempt
  • The Priestess boss fight is an ideal location since the entire fight is Eclipse-locked
  • The Corruption meter fills in the HUD as yellow rings — maximum is reached when it's fully orange
Surviving at Maximum Corruption
  • At max Corruption, your maximum armor is at its lowest — but you don't die automatically
  • The trophy requires you to still be alive when the maximum is reached, not that you defeat any enemies
  • Use Protection Modifiers to raise your base armor so that even at maximum Corruption you have survivable health
  • Second Chance helps if you're borderline — it triggers once before a run-ending death
  • Trophy pops the moment the Corruption meter maxes out and you haven't died yet

Stagger Duet

Bronze

Parry-stagger 2 enemies simultaneously with a single Parry. The Parry activates by inputting Shield at the exact moment a projectile would hit you — successful Parry stuns nearby enemies and staggers them briefly. You need at least 2 enemies within the stagger radius when you land a perfect Parry.

  • Find a room with 3+ tightly grouped standard enemies — corridors work best
  • Let them approach and cluster near a wall, then allow them to fire simultaneously
  • Wait until you see multiple projectiles converging on your position, then time the Parry
  • The Parry stagger radius is larger than it appears — enemies within ~4m are affected
  • Best location: Blighted Marsh Biome 4, first corridor room — enemies funnel through a tight doorway
  • Trophy pops on the stagger — you don't need to kill both enemies afterward
🔄

Catch and Release

Bronze

Absorb 3 full Power bars using the Shield, then kill at least one enemy with the Power Weapon. You must absorb enough projectiles to fill the Power Weapon charge three separate times before firing. This is a patience trophy — don't fire the Power Weapon until the third bar is fully charged.

  • Absorb enough projectiles to fill Power bar 1 → don't fire → keep absorbing → fill bar 2 → keep absorbing → fill bar 3
  • The Power bar flashes when overcharged (already full but still absorbing) — this counts toward the 3-bar requirement
  • Best location: the Rhabdom boss fight — it fires volleys continuously, giving ample absorption time
  • After 3 full bars absorbed, fire the Power Weapon at any enemy — trophy pops on the kill
  • Combine with Rhabdom fight to also practice active reload timing during a non-threatening encounter

OverDrive

Bronze

Dispatch 30 hostiles using OverDrive during a single cycle (one run). OverDrive is a special ability that activates automatically when certain conditions are met — it deals burst area damage and clears weaker enemies instantly.

  • OverDrive is triggered by landing consecutive active reloads — a streak of 5+ perfect reloads activates it automatically
  • Unlock and upgrade the OverDrive cooldown trait in the Armor Matrix first — reduces the reload count needed to trigger it
  • Use it exclusively on dense groups of weaker enemies — don't waste OverDrive on single elites
  • The Legion boss fight (Biome 4) is the fastest way to accumulate kills — horde spawns continuously
  • 30 kills in one cycle is very achievable in a single biome run focused on OverDrive use
🎯

Spread the Love

Bronze

Damage 7 hostiles within 5 seconds using Handcannons. Handcannons are the spread-fire secondary weapon type — they fire a shotgun-style pattern that can hit multiple targets at once. You need to hit 7 different enemies within the 5-second window, but they don't need to die.

  • Wait for a Legion-type wave room or Blighted Marsh horde room — at least 8 enemies must be present
  • Let enemies cluster tightly before firing — the Handcannon's spread is widest at close-to-mid range
  • Fire 2–3 rapid shots into the cluster — each shot can tag 2–3 enemies, reaching 7 within 2 shots
  • The trophy tracks hits, not kills — weaken the cluster first with other weapons if needed
  • Best location: Legion boss fight Phase 1 — the horde is dense enough to guarantee 7 hits per shot
🦅

Aerial Ace

Bronze

Dispatch a shielded hostile using a mid-air melee attack. Shielded hostiles are enemies carrying energy shields that block frontal damage. Melee attacks bypass shields — and a mid-air melee specifically triggers this trophy. Jump, aim at a shielded enemy, and use the melee input while airborne.

  • Shielded enemies appear from Biome 2 onward — their shield glows bright blue and deflects projectiles
  • Weaken the shielded enemy to low health first using melee or Power Weapon from behind
  • Jump, then press the melee button mid-air — Arjun performs a diving strike that bypasses the shield
  • The kill must come from the mid-air melee itself, not a shot fired during the jump
  • This can also be combined with the Identity Theft-equivalent of stunning a shielded enemy first to make the timing easier
