Our Verdict
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is everything the first game promised and more — a staggeringly detailed medieval world where every lockpick, sword-swing and conversation is grounded in Warhorse's commitment to realism. Henry's story is bigger and better told, the two regions are dense with reactive side quests, and the deliberate, skill-based combat is more readable than ever. It asks patience — this is a slow-burn RPG, not a power fantasy — but it rewards it like few games do. A landmark historical RPG and an easy recommendation.
Kingdom Came — Full Roadmap
A long but fair platinum with no difficulty requirement on the base list — the real challenge is missables. KCD2 is packed with quest trophies tied to specific choices and outcomes, so the golden rule is simple: keep manual saves before every major decision. Nail that and it's a matter of time, not skill.
Step-by-Step Roadmap
Play naturally & keep saves
Enjoy a first playthrough — but keep multiple manual saves and don't overwrite blindly. KCD2 has many outcome-based quest trophies (Silence is Golden, No Good Deed, Truce, Martyr, A Bird in the Hand…), so a save before every big decision is your safety net.
Decide on Lent early
Lent (finish with no meat and no animal kills) is a whole-game condition, so choose your approach up front — either commit to the meatless, no-hunting lifestyle for your main run, or plan a dedicated Lent save. It also clashes with Overkill (shoot a rabbit), which you should do on a different save.
Level the key skills
Push Speech (Slip the Noose, dialogue outcomes), Lockpicking (Nimble Fingers — hardest lock), plus Warfare/Marksmanship for the combat and competition trophies. Train with masters — it also feeds Groschen Must Flow.
Mop up combat, minigames & money
Knock out the odds and ends: every weapon-type kill (Weapon of Choice), combos, shield-breaks, guns, dice (Shiny), brawling (Henry the Bruiser), all minigames (Jack of All Trades), and the money totals.
Finish the story & content → Platinum
Complete the campaign (The End) and most of the side content (Been There, Done That). Tidy any missed quest trophies with your saves, and Kingdom Came is yours. For 100%, the five DLC packs (Hardcore, Horse Races, Brushes with Death, Legacy of the Forge, Mysteria Ecclesiae) add 35 more trophies beyond the platinum.
