Missable Trophies
KCD2's platinum has no difficulty trophies — its challenge is that many trophies are tied to quest choices and outcomes that can be permanently failed. Below is every one, in the order you'll reach it, with the exact quest and what to do.
💾 Good news first: KCD2 keeps a permanent save at the start of every main quest, so a missed quest-specific trophy usually just means replaying that quest — not the whole run. Only two are truly playthrough-spanning: Lent and Been There, Done That. Still keep your own rotating manual saves before big decisions.
Déjà Vu BronzeMain Quest 2 · Easy Riders
You defeated Capon during practice. Again.
How: In Main Quest 2: Easy Riders, beat Sir Hans Capon in the practice sword fight. Winning the spar is what pops it.
💡 Missable, but forgiving: the game keeps a permanent save at the start of every main quest, so if you lose the spar you can replay MQ2. Ripostes (block late, then counter) beat Capon reliably.
A Knight's Word SilverMain Quest 5 onwards — before MQ7
You rewarded the herbwoman for her help as promised.
How: Pay the herbwoman Bozhena 150 Groschen — and you must do it before Hans hands you that same 150 Groschen in Main Quest 7. Available from Main Quest 5 onwards.
💡 The sneaky one — pay Bozhena out of your own pocket early. The moment Hans gives you the 150 Groschen in MQ7, the window shuts.
Old Raven BronzeMain Quest 7 · Back in the Saddle
You found the true Lord of Nebakov.
How: During Main Quest 7: Back in the Saddle, find and speak with the true Lord of Nebakov — he's the prisoner sitting in the jail cell.
💡 Very easy to walk straight past. Search the cells and talk to the prisoner before the quest moves on.
Silence is Golden SilverMain Quests 7–8
Thanks to you, the raid on Semine didn't happen.
How: Spans Main Quests 7 and 8. In MQ7, tell Otto von Bergow you "don't know of anything". In MQ8, get the bandits' location by torturing the captive, tell Hans "Let's keep quiet about Semine", then report back without revealing Semine's involvement — that's what stops the raid.
💡 Every step counts — one wrong line and the raid happens anyway. Save before each conversation, and note that MQ8 (Necessary Evil) is the Trosky region's point of no return.
Rock and Stone! BronzeMain Quest 11 · The Finger of God
You killed an enemy with a boulder dropped from the battlements.
How: During Main Quest 11: The Finger of God, use the boulder drop on the battlements to crush an enemy below.
💡 Tied to that one siege section: man the boulder drops during the defence instead of fighting on foot.
Tales of Kuttenberg BronzeMain Quest 18 · Taking French Leave
You helped Rosa finish her book.
How: Complete the Rosa's Book side quest — it can only be finished while Main Quest 18: Taking French Leave is active.
💡 Push past MQ18 and it's gone for the run. Start Rosa's Book the moment Taking French Leave begins.
Die Another Day BronzeMain Quest 19 · The Feast
As Godwin, you saved your brother.
How: In Main Quest 19: The Feast, during the section where you play as Godwin, protect your brother Christopher Oderin through the fortress defence — he has to survive.
💡 Stick close to Christopher and kill whatever goes for him rather than chasing kills elsewhere.
The Hydra's Heads SilverMain Quest 22 · The Lion's Den
All three commanders are dead, and the powder magazine's been taken care of.
How: In Main Quest 22: The Lion's Den, kill all three commanders — Chertan, Grozav and Katz — and make sure the powder magazine is dealt with before the quest closes.
💡 Do all the objectives, not the minimum the quest will let you finish with — leaving a single commander alive voids it.
No Good Deed SilverMain Quest 23 · Dancing with the Devil
You saved Maleshov without getting caught.
How: In Main Quest 23: Dancing with the Devil: beat Dry Devil in the duel, then open the Maleshov fortress gates without being detected.
💡 Take the stealth route to the gates: go at night, stay crouched, and avoid patrols. Being spotted at any point voids the clean outcome.
True Cardinal SilverMain Quest 25 · The Italian Job
You made it through the church council without raising suspicion.
How: In Main Quest 25: The Italian Job, get through the church council without raising suspicion — pick the right dialogue and stay drunk, which is what makes Henry's Italian convincing.
💡 Drink before you walk in (sober Henry's Italian gives you away), then choose carefully — and save right before the council starts.
Face to Face BronzeMain Quest 30 · Reckoning
You finally met Markvart von Aulitz.
How: In Main Quest 30: Reckoning, during the search phase you must actually find and lay eyes on Markvart von Aulitz in the tavern.
💡 It's missable because you can complete the search without ever actually seeing him. Head to the tavern and spot Markvart yourself.
Master of Masters SilverSide Quest · Lost Honour
You beat Zavish in three disciplines.
How: In the side quest Lost Honour, beat Zavish in all three duels.
💡 All three duels, inside that one quest — lose any and it's lost. Train your combat skills before you start Lost Honour.
Truce SilverSide Quest · Battle of the Frogs and Mice
You've helped the two quarreling villages reconcile. For now.
How: Do the Frogs and Mice village side quests, then in Battle of the Frogs and Mice convince Bailiff Thrush to intervene instead of letting the villages brawl.
💡 Doing both villages' quests first is what earns you the standing to talk Thrush into stepping in.
Henry the Matchmaker BronzeSide Quest · Hush, My Darling…
You brought Victoria her sweetheart. Against his will.
How: In the side quest Hush, My Darling…, physically carry Black out of the camp through the forest to Victoria.
💡 You literally haul him there — knock Black out and carry him rather than trying to talk him into going.
Under a Brown Flag BronzeSide Quests · Yackers 'n' Fash → Striped Tonies
You hung used underwear on the tavern. Very used.
How: Part of the side-quest chain Yackers 'n' Fash → Striped Tonies — hang the (very) used underwear on the tavern as the quest asks.
💡 Tied to a light-hearted quest/prank; follow its steps to raise the dirty 'flag'.
Remember, Remember… BronzeSide Quests · Feast for the Poor → The Thieves' Code → The Spark
Did you really think it wouldn't blow up? Really?
How: The payoff of the side-quest chain Feast for the Poor → The Thieves' Code → The Spark: place the powder barrel in the fire and let it blow.
💡 Do the deed, let the trophy pop, then reload your save to carry on as if nothing happened.
Lent BronzeWhole playthrough
You finished the game without eating meat or killing any animals.
How: Finish the story without eating any meat and without killing any animals.
💡 Bread, fruit, veg and non-meat dishes only. Knocking wolves out is allowed — just never kill an animal. It clashes with Overkill (shoot a rabbit), so do that one on a separate save.
Been There, Done That GoldWhole playthrough
You've completed most of the game's content.
How: Complete roughly 90% of all main quests, side quests and side tasks in a single playthrough.
💡 Two things quietly void it: letting quests fail by ignoring them too long, and killing non-hostile villagers (which can delete questlines). Clear side content as you go instead of hoarding it.
