Sword Skills & Combat
Nine trophies for mastering SAO's combat — the six Sword Skill silvers (one per weapon type), plus maxing a skill, hitting Level 100 and capping your Healing Crystals. This is the biggest source of Silver on the list and the main "build your character" grind, so it naturally overlaps with everything else you're doing.
How Sword Skills unlock
- Skills unlock by using a weapon type. Equip a category and fight with it — new Sword Skills unlock as that weapon's proficiency rises and as you hit level/quest gates.
- Spread your combat around. Rotate through all six weapon types across the campaign so every proficiency climbs; leaving Two-Handed Axe or Mace untouched is what makes people miss a silver.
- Partners help. Each character favours a weapon — using their preferred type alongside them can speed proficiency gains.

Battle Master

Battle Master
BronzeFull guideCollapseWhat it asks
Take a single Sword Skill to its maximum level by using it repeatedly.
How to earn it
- Pick a bread-and-butter skill on your main weapon and spam it in combat — skills level up the more you use them.
- It'll almost certainly max out on your favourite attack long before the platinum; if not, farm weak enemies with that one skill.
Proficient Player
BronzeFull guideCollapseReach Player Lv. 100.
Proficient Player
BronzeFull guideCollapseWhat it asks
Reach Player Level 100. This is the big level grind and effectively the gate for the Tezca Death Wielder superboss.
How to earn it
- Level naturally through story, quests and bosses; toward the end, farm a high-XP field or Ark boss to close the gap.
- Hitting 100 also unlocks the last of your Sword Skills, so it wraps up several trophies at once — do it before attempting the superboss.
A Strong Lifeline
BronzeFull guideCollapseReach the maximum limit of Healing Crystals.
A Strong Lifeline
BronzeFull guideCollapseWhat it asks
Healing Crystals are SAO's instant-heal items, and you can carry a capped number. Reach that maximum limit in your inventory.
How to earn it
- Buy or craft Healing Crystals until you hit the carry cap — cheap from item shops once you have Col.
- Do this right before the superboss: a full stack of heals is exactly what you want for that fight anyway.
